Freetown is an exciting urban band that draws its style from ska, rocksteady, street and reggae.
Freetown have been playing solid ska since the 1990s, as the backing band of choice for Laurel Aitken, the Godfather of Ska. From 2001, when Laurel stopped touring due to ill health, we toured with Alton Ellis, Derrick Morgan, Dave Barker, Winston Francis and many other great Jamaican artists.
